Choose Boracay :)

I was doing the usual, working, checking Facebook, tweeting, reading, listening to music and checking my work email. When I stumbled upon an awesome news about Boracay (sort of late since it was published last August 2011, but still it’s awesome.) πŸ™‚

Here was my tweet with regards to that awesome news. πŸ™‚

My tweet rt-ed by Choose Phil. πŸ˜€ Thanks!

As mentioned in my tweet, Boracay was named as the 4th best island in the world by Travel + Leisure Magazine.

4th Best Island

In Asia, we are 2nd, next to Bali. πŸ™‚

2nd best after Bali. :)

Here’s one of my favorite Boracay Escapade Photo:

We should all be proud of this achievement, but I also know that we have a lot more to boast other than Boracay. πŸ™‚ There’s White Island in Camiguin, Puka Β Beach, Palawan, Zambales (Nagsasa and Anawangin), and many many more. πŸ™‚

Here’s more information about the results shared by Travel + Leisure Magazine. πŸ™‚
The released list was the sixteenth edition, which they publish yearly, and Boracay was cited to have the World’s Best Debut when it came to being in the list of Best Islands, both in the worldwide and Asia list.

The results were from a survey conducted to the readers of the magazine, Travel + Leisure. The consumers were able to voice out their opinion through answering the survey questionnaire through the magazine leaflet, iPad app, and through their website http://www.

The survey was conducted from December 2010 to March 31, 2011. (Also note that they have eliminated survey responses that came from travel agencies.)

The categories taken into consideration in picking the best island were as follows:
Natural Attractions

Each category was to be ranked by the consumer from 1 to 5, 1 for poor and 5 for excellent. The reviews were then tabulated and averaged by Travel + Leisure Magazine.
